CONvergence is a science fiction and fantasy convention held annually at the Sheraton South Hotel in Bloomington, Minnesota. Famous Monsters of Filmland, the original sci-fi/horror/fantasy-genre magazine that captured over three decades of imagination, announces its foray into the horror convention circuit. G-FEST is the largest regular gathering of Godzilla and Japanese monster fans in the world. Held each summer, G-FEST typically attracts about 1000 attendees. In 2005, more than 1300 attended.
G-FEST is a family-oriented convention which caters to a wide variety of interests within the kaiju genre.
