The SoulGeek Con Blog Presents: GNOME-CON! We are a group of gamers, sci/fi and fantasy fans who decided we needed a convention closer to home. We are fans of gnomes and know not to fall under the spell of elves. We dream about dice and game tiles and wonder how we will ever make it through the elusive dungeon of our dreams. We know you should check for loot cautiously in any endeavor and look forward to meeting you in April!

The SoulGeek Con Blog Presents: S.P.A.C.E.

The SoulGeek Con Blog Presents: S.P.A.C.E! ”SPACE is about the comics and the creators with no distractions. I’ve always felt a great creative buzz during the show.” – Bob Corby, Show Organizer

“You never know what you’ll find at S.P.A.C.E. A new favorite. An old one. Multiple genres represented. People from the webcomics world. People who just do mini-comics. The show has creators just starting out. As well as creators who have been working on their craft for quite some time. Pro… amateur… the common thread is they’re all creating their own thing.”

NAUTICON (21+), May 2 – 4, 2014 – The SoulGeek Con Blog

May 2 – 4, 2014
Provincetown Inn
Provincetown, Massachusetts
http://www.nauticons.com/

The SoulGeek Con Blog Presents: NAUTICON! A re-imagining of the con experience, a “boiling down” if you will, of what makes cons fun to those over the age of 21. So to that end, you may not see some of the things traditionally associated with conventions.

It really IS Not-A-Con as you know it.

We go for real OUT OF THE BOX thinking on this one.

The Artist Colony is a place where you won’t see anything you could find at a store in your area, we’re going for creators and craftsmen.

The Panels will always be of a nature where the first words out of a presenter’s mouth won’t be, “Are there any children in the audience?” ‘Cause there won’t be.
The Events and Entertainments will be a little naughty, but not nasty, a place for you to have a good time and perhaps make a new friend who shares your nerdy.

  • If you want to game — play away in our 24/3 Gaming Room
  • Want to catch an author reading — we have that and more in our literary programming
  • Don’t want to attend the literary programming — then why not catch a panel about filking, podcasting, media or science

The RavenCon staff have a vision of what makes a good convention and are applying their experience to develop a well rounded event with something for everyone.
